CSIA Newsroom
Over the past 30+ years, CSIA has been America’s go-to expert for fireplace and chimney safety information. We are proud to have partnered with countless national, regional, and local news and media organizations across the United States to provide information that can help save lives and protect homes by preventing chimney fires and other home heating emergencies.
Who We Are
The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education, training, and certification of chimney- and venting industry-related professionals. Additionally, we strive to advance public awareness about the dangers of chimney fires and other problems related to the maintenance and performance of chimney and venting systems.
The CSIA is governed by a volunteer board of directors and has been the industry leader in chimney and venting education since 1983.
