Military Benefits

U.S. Veterans and their eligible beneficiaries can use their education benefits here at the CSIA CERT near Indianapolis. The following classes have been approved for G.I. Bill® benefits:

  • CSIA National Training Academy

  • CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician Workshop

  • 3-Day Masonry

  • Advanced Masonry

  • Installing and Troubleshooting Hearth Appliances

  • Chimney Documentation to Reduce Liability and Increase Profits

This means that course registration and housing costs may be covered under the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill®, the Montgomery G.I. Bill® (Active or Selective Reserve), the Reserve Educational Assistance Program, or the Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program depending on personal eligibility.

Since individual benefits are based on a complex formula including the dates and length of service, veterans must contact the Department of Veterans Affairs directly for personal eligibility information. Vets can call the National Call Center directly at (822) 442-4551 or visit the G.I. Bill® website at www.gibill.va.gov. The Chimney Safety Institute of America is school # 3-5-0119-14.

If you have further questions regarding this policy or how it applies to CSIA classes, please contact us.
