One Donation Honors Two

Honoring Steve Blackburn and Donna Kasmer

Debbie Wiedwald of Blackburns Chimney Services recently made a generous donation to the Chimney Safety Institute of America® in honor of Steve Blackburn and Donna Kasmer.

In Debbie’s words, Steve was a huge proponent in using innovative equipment and continually finding better ways to serve the industry. Donna loved and cared deeply for this industry and the people in it as family.

That spirit is part of what makes the chimney and venting industry so special and unique. It doesn’t matter where you live, what your background is, or what brought you into this profession - when you become part of this industry, you become part of a family.

Together, we continue to find new ways to teach, new equipment to learn with, and new heights to climb. Debbie’s donation will help CSIA® bring additional educational equipment and tools into our training programs, creating more opportunities for current and future industry professionals to learn and grow.
