Chris Prior studied mechanical engineering at Northeastern University in the early 1970’s.

For the last 35 years has been a designer and builder of innovative masonry fireplaces, masonry heaters and bake ovens, including the masonry and pizza oven at the CSIA Technology Center

He has conducted countless classes and seminars on a vast variety of topics throughout the US and Canada.

Currently partnered with John Meredith (SaverSystems) building and testing at the Wardenclyffe Hearth Lab. ​
