While we offer e-learning and training on location through our CSIA Roadshow, all other training takes place here at our state-of-the-art Technology Center – including our National Training Academy.
The 10,000-square-foot Tech Center is the premier educational and technological training facility for the chimney and venting industry and is located within minutes of the Indianapolis International Airport.

Interested in renting out the Tech Center? Here’s what you need to know:
Classrooms
The Tech Center’s main classroom can be utilized as two separate classrooms OR the air-wall between them can be opened, creating one large classroom. Thus, this space can host two concurrent seminars or one large seminar.
Classrooms A (1,157 sq. ft) and B (1,602 sq. ft.) are carpeted and can accommodate a variety of room sets, including classroom, theatre, and rounds.
A lectern, whiteboard, screen, and flipcharts are also included with the space. The classrooms are equipped with a PA system and pre-set for a wireless lavaliere microphone. A wireless microphone, LCD multimedia projector, and Wi-Fi are also available.
Training Lab
The Tech Center’s Training Lab (1,862 sq. ft.) is equipped with a PA system and is pre-set for a wireless lavaliere microphone. The lab contains one large masonry chimney with four flues, two of which are fireplace flues.
The floor is exposed, sealed concrete (non-carpeted) and the room can be placed under positive or negative pressure. The space is ventilated, offers a 20’ ceiling, and there’s also exterior drive-up access through a 10’ overhead door.

Local hotels offer discounts for CSIA events and provide complimentary shuttle service from your hotel to the airport. You’ll find our preferred hotels list right here.
Numerous restaurants, movie theatres, and shopping areas are located nearby, and a quick half-hour drive north puts you in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, where you’ll find even more options for dining, culture, and entertainment.
Catering
While the CSIA does have a preferred caterer for events, you may bring in outside catering and food if you wish. There are a number of restaurants that deliver and cater in the area. We’ll be more than happy to work with you on any catering needs you may have – from coffee to full meals.
You’ll also find a full kitchen located just outside of the classrooms at the Technology Center. Included with all meeting space is access to china, silverware, glassware, a full stove, a microwave, and two refrigerators.
Rental Rates & Scheduling
Because we hold courses and trainings in the Tech Center throughout the year, some dates may be unavailable for rental. Please reach out to office@csia.org for up-to-date information on available dates and spaces. We ask that you get in touch with us at least 90 days prior to your event for the most flexible scheduling.
Office Support
We can also provide office support for your event if needed. Office support includes most clerical and receptionist duties, including copying, word processing, and registration assistance. Office support staff must be reserved for a 4-hour minimum. Support for events outside of normal operating hours may also be possible.
