You’ll need to renew this important credential every three years.

How do you renew it?

There are two ways to renew your C-DET® credential:

Take the online review. Complete your review course either online or in person.

How much does it cost to renew your C-DET® credential?

There is no renewal fee for C-DET® certification, so you’ll just pay the fee for the online review or your exam. If you have an eLearning subscription, online reviews are included. Otherwise, the online review fee is $299. The exam fee is $189.

What if my C-DET® credential expires? Is there a grace period?

We offer a 30-day grace period, and we’ll also send you reminders when your certification is up for renewal. If you do not renew within 30 days of expiration, you will have to start the certification process over.
