CSIA Ethics ComplaintDoes the individual currently hold a valid certification with CSIA and you believe they violated the CSIA Code of Ethics?
CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps and CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians agree to abide by the CSIA Code of Ethics. If you believe that a Certified Sweep or Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician has violated the Code of Ethics, there is a procedure in place to address such issues and potentially revoke certification status. Please note that the CSIA cannot affect or otherwise influence pricing issues. CSIA also encourages you to contact your local Better Business Bureau or State Department of Consumer Affairs/Protection.

CSIA Trademark ComplaintIs the individual NOT a current credential holder and is using the CSIA Trademark or claiming certification with CSIA? Does the company in question claim they have CSIA certified technicians, but they do not?
As the CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep and CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician trademarks continue to gain value, it has become more common for those who do not hold the credentials to hold themselves out as certified. If you find that a non-certified person is using our trademark, please let us know so that we can continue to protect our trademarks.
