It’s been almost eerily quiet around the CSIA Tech Center the past few days, but that may be a good thing because it has given us some time to prepare for what looks to be an incredibly busy beginning to 2016. Between mid-January and mid-March we will either be exhibiting and/or lecturing (or throwing one heck of a luau) in FIVE different cities.

The first leg of our whirlwind tour is a visit to Waynesville, NC for the annual North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association (NCCSA) winter meeting. If you are a member of that organization and you haven’t heard about this yet, let me fill you in on the details…

On January 15 -16, CSIA Director of Education, Ashley Eldridge, and CSIA Director of Communications & Marketing, Jordan Whitt, will be  road tripping it down in the CSIA van down to Waynesville to  provide NCCSA members with a two-day seminar of intense classroom training –worth up to 6 CEU credits per day.  If you carry the CSIA and/or NFI certification this opportunity represents several hundred if not thousands of dollars of value in time and travel.  If you have new hires, this opportunity could help pave their way to being productive, educated, career minded employees.

There’s really no better way to road-trip than in a rolling CSIA billboard.

All of this will be taking place at the Waynesville Resort and Spa.  Classes start and 8am both days and end a 5pm.  A large breakfast buffet is included in with the price of the room.  Lunch and dinner are being provided by event sponsors.

  • Room rate is $85 per night
  • Ask for the NCCSA rate
  • This rate is available Thursday through Sunday night, so feel free to enjoy your time in the mountains an extra night!
