Recommended Minimum Browser Requirements
Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5 /FireFox 1 (Windows 98 ) or Netscape 7.2 /FireFox 1 (MacOS X and Linux). A high speed internet connection is also recommended, but not required.
About the CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician Exam
The CDET examination is composed of 50 multiple-choice questions. CSIA allows a maximum of 30 minutes for candidates to complete the test. The examination is closed book- the use of notes or reference material, including the CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician® Manual is forbidden during the examination. To become certified, applicants must attain a score of 80 percent or higher on the examination. The exam is currently available online and ready to be administered proctors approved by CSIA.
